Here is a simple earring pattern to coordinate with the Twin Flanked Drops necklace design from a previous post.  Materials required are the same as the necklace, plus a couple of 6/0 or 8/0 seed beads and jump rings for connecting the earring to an earring hook or clip. (Refer to my Twin Flanked Drops necklace post for the list of beads used in these two color schemes).  I hope you enjoy this free beading pattern!

Here is another necklace design using Superduos with round beads. Â This pattern requires 4mm and 6mm round beads or crystals, Superduos or twin beads (2-hole), and 11/0 seed beads (up to 3 colors). Â The piece below was made using 4mm and 6mm ice blue Czech crystals, light blue rainbow transparent 11/0 seed beads, and silver Superduo beads. Â The floral-colored piece was made using 4mm and 6mm dusty pink cats-eye glass beads, white Superduo beads, and three colors of 11/0 seed beads (matte purple rainbow, transparent rainbow lime green, and white). I chose very different color combinations to show how the design looks more formal with classic silver/blue, and more casual and colorful with the floral colors. Â I hope you enjoy this free beading pattern!

Scroll down for new video tutorial added for this design! Since my interests have gravitated toward Superduo beads lately, I experimented with another way to use them in a necklace design.  This pattern requires 2 colors of 11/0 seed beads and 2 – 3 colors of Superduo beads.  I tried the design with smaller 11/0 Czech beads and larger TOHO 11/0 beads, and both yielded nice results.  The smaller 11/0 beads resulted in more “V” shapes in the 2nd row of buds (seen in the gold & copper, and pink & white pieces), while the larger TOHO 11/0 beads resulted in more “U” shapes in the 2nd row, shown in the black and copper example.  I hope you enjoy this free beading pattern!

I absolutely love this new Lotus Lace earring design.  It requires 11/0 seed beads, 2x5mm 2-hole Superduo or twin beads, and 6mm pearls or round beads.  This pattern also includes a “shorter variation” (shown in the light blue, white, and silver earrings below) as an alternative to the longer version.  This pattern works equally well with either smaller Czech 11/0 seed beads, or with larger TOHO 11/0 seed beads, and works with either Superduo or twin beads.

This is an earring pattern to match the Twin Floret Lace necklace pattern in my last post. This design requires the same beads as the necklace (11/0 Czech seed beads, 4mm pearls, and twin or Superduo beads). Enjoy!
