FREE beading pattern for necklace Bugle Diamonds

I experimented more with the bugle square-within-square component from my last post (Bugle Squares), and came up with another design I like very much.  This pattern results in a more rigid curve in the necklace than the design in my last post, so works best as a shorter necklace (13 to 15 components).  It is highly recommended that you use Fireline for this pattern, otherwise the sharp edges of the bugle beads could sever your thread.  I vertically attached 3 more components to the front of the green and gold necklace, to give it a more V-line in the front, which I thought was a nice embellishment to the pattern.  The green and gold piece was made using Czech #3 (6.4mm) rainbow dark green bugle beads, dark green 4mm round crystals, with light green rainbow and gold lined seed beads.  The grey piece was made using Czech #3 rainbow grey bugle beads, 4mm fire polished lilac luster round crystals, and light blue rainbow and light purple rainbow silver lined seed beads.  Enjoy!

FREE beading pattern for Diamond Rivoli pendant

I absolutely love this pendant pattern.  You need a 14mm rivoli crystal, 4mm coordinating crystals and pearls, a drop bead, and two colors of 11/0 TOHO seed beads (Japanese 11/0 seed beads might also work, but not the smaller Czech 11/0 seed beads).  Some of the examples below show variations on the drop part of this pendant, which you can experiment with yourself (or even omit if you like).  As opposed to hanging this pendant on a chain, I decided to hang it on 1/4-inch ribbon, finished with crimp ends for clasp.

Note: If you have trouble with the beginning of the pattern, visit http://www.aroundthebeadingtable.com/Tutorials/PeyoteBezel.html, which has a more detailed picture and diagram tutorial of the same exact process depicted in steps 1 – 6 of this diagram.

FREE beading pattern for Sophia Earrings

I wanted to create an earring pattern that had some of the same colors and elements to match the Sophia Bracelet and Sophia Necklace in previous posts, and came up with something that uses the same 11/0 and 6/0 TOHO seed beads in what is mostly a Peyote stitch.  Enjoy!

FREE beading pattern for Sophia Necklace

This is a variation on the bracelet pattern from my last post to create a matching necklace.  The pattern requires 6/0 TOHO seed beads (3 colors) and 11/0 TOHO seed beads (1 color).  The first two rows are nearly identical to the bracelet pattern, but the third row is different and allows the pattern to curve for a necklace.  Enjoy!

FREE beading pattern for Sophia Bracelet

The strand on the necklace of my last post was essentially a modified spiral rope stitch with an extra stabilization row to make it lie flat.  I came up with a variation on the same concept using different size seed beads and a more decorative stabilization row to make a bracelet.  This is my first bracelet pattern, but I like it so much I will probably create a matching necklace for it in my next post.  I particularly enjoyed experimenting with different color combinations in this design.  This is easy and quick to make, and requires only 6/0 TOHO seed beads (in 3 colors) and 11/0 TOHO seed beads (1 color, matching one of the 6/0 colors).  Enjoy!
