FREE beading pattern for Lorraine Necklace

My apologies to those of you on the e-mail list who may have received multiple e-mails of my last post. There was a server migration in December which caused a glitch in the e-mail mechanism, which I believe has now been fixed.

New pattern!

This is my latest necklace design, entitled Lorraine Necklace. It requires 11/0 seed beads, 4mm pearls or crystals, 6mm & 8mm pearls (or round beads), and Superduo or twin beads. If you choose to use 4mm crystals that are not bicone (i.e. like the black/gold piece below, where the crystals are more oval), a slight adjustment to the pattern is needed. If using oval crystals, then at steps 16 and 17 where you see 2 seed beads in a row, use only one. Below the picture is a list of materials I used in the three pieces shown. FREE beading pattern for Trinity Necklace

This design is all about groups of three, which inspired its title. This pattern requires 6mm and 4mm round beads or pearls, 6mm bicone crystals, and 1 or 2 colors of 11/0 seed beads. Smaller Czech 11/0 seed beads work just as well as larger TOHO 11/0 seed beads do with this design. Using the larger seed beads results in slightly larger triangle components. This difference can be seen in both close-up images, which show the smaller seed bead components above the larger seed bead components for comparison. I hope you enjoy this free beading pattern!

FREE beading pattern for Twin Diamonds necklace and earrings

The pattern for this necklace was so simple, I had room left over to include a pattern for stunning earrings to match! The necklace pattern works well for a bracelet too. This necklace was made from 4mm off-white pearls, iridescent clear twin beads, and 11/0 gold seed beads. Each earring uses those same beads, plus off-white pearl 11/0 seed beads, a 4mm crystal, a pearl drop bead with gold bead cap, and a 6/0 gold seed bead to hold a jump ring at the top.

FREE beading pattern for necklace Netted Pearls

This is a popular necklace pattern originally posted at beadsmagic.com, which has been slightly modified. Instead of having the loops overlap and hang freely over eachother, I found the necklace kept a more evenly spaced crisscross pattern if the loops were interlocked with one another, so the pattern below illustrates how to stitch it that way. I made both an off-white and bright-white version of this necklace with clear AB 6mm bicone crystals, pearls (4mm, 6mm and 8mm), and 11/0 seed beads. This would make a stunning bridal or evening necklace; classic and beautiful!

FREE beading pattern for necklace Seed Bead Lace

This is a elegant lacy pattern you can make only using seed beads. For this piece I used white pearl 11/0 seed beads with silver accents, which gives more of a bridal or summery look, but it would work in any color. It is one of those dress-down or dress-up necklaces — very versatile. Enjoy!
