FREE beading pattern: Tannenbaum Earrings

Enjoy a free video tutorial to accompany the PDF download for this design! These Christmas Tree earrings are perfect for the holidays, and make great gifts as well. They are adapted from my previously posted Garland Earrings to have a more Christmas tree shape. I hope you enjoy this free beading pattern!

Materials

For these earrings you need superduos, four 4mm crystals, and two 6mm crystals (round or bicone). You will also need 11/0 seed beads plus two 6/0 or 8/0 seed beads for the jump rings to go through to connect the ear hooks or clips. The 4mm crystals are for the top and middle of the trees, and can be the same or different colors. The 6mm crystals are for the bottom (stump) of the trees.

FREE beading pattern for Garland Bracelet

FREE beading pattern: Garland Bracelet
FREE beading pattern: Garland Bracelet

Enjoy a free video tutorial to go with the PDF diagram for this design! I love this new bracelet design, meant to coordinate with the Garland Earrings and Garland Necklace from my previous posts. It is perfect for the Holidays, but also gorgeous for other occasions. I hope you enjoy this free beading pattern!

Materials

You only need two colors of superduos and 11/0 TOHO seed beads for this bracelet, plus two 6/0 or 8/0 seed beads for jump rings to go through for the clasp. Each “component” of the bracelet is about 1/2 inch, so you can customize to your desired length.

FREE beading pattern for Joslyn Earrings

FREE beading pattern: Joslyn Earrings

Enjoy a free video tutorial to accompany the PDF download for this design! I designed this earring to coordinate with the Joslyn Necklace from my previous post. This design looks best with contrasting colors, to bring out the geometric lines. These are quick and easy to make, and fun to experiment with different color combinations. I hope you enjoy this free beading pattern!

Materials

For these earrings, you will need twelve superduos, six 4mm crystals (bicone or round), 11/0 TOHO seed beads, and two 6/0 or 8/0 seed beads to connect earhooks with jump rings.

FREE beading pattern for Joslyn Necklace

FREE beading pattern: Joslyn Necklace

Enjoy a free video tutorial to accompany the PDF diagram for this design! I love how this design incorporates the superduos as pops of color at the connection points, but in a totally different way than in the Nadine Necklace design from my previous post. The piece is woven with nearly the same number of crystals (or round beads), which makes for a symmetrical contrast of color. Using bright colors that contrast one another seems to work best with this design, in my opinion. I hope you enjoy this free beading pattern!

Materials

For this design you need 66 – 72 4mm crystals (bicone or round) or round beads, superduos, 11/0 seed beads (TOHO or Czech), and two 6/0 or 8/0 seed beads to connect a clasp with jump rings. Using 11/0 TOHO seed beads, a 16-inch necklace (with clasp) requires 66 crystals. With 11/0 Czech seed beads (slightly smaller than TOHO), a 16-inch necklace requires 72 crystals.

FREE beading pattern for Nadine Necklace

FREE beading pattern: Nadine Necklace

Enjoy a video tutorial to go with the PDF diagram of this free pattern! I love the way this design alternates colors of curvy lines radiating from the center, resembling the sun’s corona. It is a variation on basic netting technique, but the superduos at the connection points allow the lines to curve instead of making sharp corners. This design seems to work best with two high-contrasting seed bead colors. I hope you enjoy this free beading pattern!

Materials

For this necklace, you need 6mm round beads, superduos, two colors of 11/0 TOHO seed beads, 8/0 seed beads (matching one of the 11/0 TOHO seed bead colors), and jump rings to connect a clasp.
