The adjacent superduos along the top resemble a rope, giving a nice clean line for the crystals to hang from. The piece is made in a single row to your desired length. The design looks great with either two colors of bicone crystals (like the green/gold or purple/silver examples) or one color (like the black/gold piece). Materials
This piece requires 11/0 TOHO seed beads, superduos, 4mm crystals (1 or 2 colors), and two 6/0 or 8/0 seed beads to put jump rings through for the clasp. To make a 16-inch necklace, you will need about 53 crystals of each color (or 106 of one color). To make a longer necklace, you will need about 3 more crystals in each color (or 6 more of one color) per inch.
