Expanding on the Lotus Lace Earrings design from my last post, I created a bracelet using similar elements from the earrings, woven together with a new gorgeous center component.  I haven’t created many bracelet patterns in the past, but I must say this one is my absolute favorite!  It is not one of my simpler patterns, but I tried to make the diagram as easy to follow as possible with clear step-by-step illustrations.  As with the earrings, this pattern works equally well with either smaller Czech 11/0 seed beads, or with larger TOHO 11/0 seed beads, and can work with either Superduo or twin beads (although Superduos work a little better I think).  The smaller Czech 11/0 seed beads result in a slightly shorter bracelet, but you can adjust the length of the bracelet in the final step when attaching the clasp (by either adding linked jump rings or by sewing the clasp into a shorter or longer loop of beads).
Here is a list of materials used in the various color combinations I experimented with:
11/0 seed beads | Superduos or twins | 6mm round beads |
Czech gold | Apollo Gold Superduos | Czech druks, opaque satin copper |
Czech silver | White Luster twins | green adventurine (natural stone) |
TOHO nickel | Silver Superduos | Light violet Pearls |
Delica nickel | Silver Superduos | Dark Iris Blue Druks |
TOHO Bronze | Black Superduos | Black Druks |
TOHO Bronze | Transparent Amethyst Luster Superduos | Transparent Amethyst Luster Druks |
