FREE beading pattern for Fringed Bezel necklace

Here is yet another design for an 18x25mm cabochon, which uses a variation of the St. Petersburg chain that both frames the cabochon and continues on to form the necklace strands.  This design has two versions: one with bugles for longer fringe (shown in the green and copper necklace), and one with alternating fringe beads (demonstrated in the blue and gold necklace).  The green version is made using a dark resin opalescent 18x25mm cabochon and resembles a Peacock feather, while the blue and gold version is made using a light resin cabochon and has a more classical look.  Both designs require 11/0 seed beads and either bugle beads or small fringe beads for the chain, and 15/0 and 11/0 seed beads for netting the bezel around the cabochon.

FREE beading pattern for Crystal Net Earrings

As promised, here is a pattern for earrings that coordinate with the Crystal Net necklace pattern in my last post.  These earrings employ a lovely color combination arranged in a flowery wheel pattern, each made from copper and purple 11/0 seed beads with 4mm purple AB bicone crystals, a 6mm purple AB bicone crystal, and a 6/0 copper seed bead at the top for attaching a jump ring.  Enjoy!

FREE beading pattern for necklace Crystal Net

This is a fairly easy pattern modified from a similar pattern I originally found on another blog (http://cartonsetperles.canalblog.com/archives/2011/04/19/20928261.html).  It uses two rows of stitching to make the basic netting pattern, plus a 3rd row to even out and stabilize the edge.  I love the color combination in this piece, made using copper and purple 11/0 seed beads with 4mm and 6mm purple AB crystals. Stay tuned for next post, where I’ll share a pattern for matching earrings!

FREE beading pattern for necklace Pearl Netting

This is a lovely pattern, that was modified from a pattern that was originally posted at BeadsMagic.com.  After making the necklace, I found it needed another row to keep the pearls in place better (to prevent turning or twisting as they hang from the netting), so I created the pattern below to include that extra stabilizing row.  This necklace was made with dark and light copper 11/0 seed beads with 8mm dark copper pearls.

FREE beading pattern for necklace Bugle Fringes

Something about this design reminds me of styles from the1920’s.  This is a lovely pattern that works with about any size bugle bead.  To make this, you need 11/0 sead beads, 3mm – 4mm fringe beads, and bugle beads (any length).  I made a cobolt blue and copper version with longer (12mm) bugle beads (shown below), as well as a green and gold one with shorter (6mm) bugle beads.  Enjoy!
