Free Beading Pattern for Spring Vine Bracelet

Free beading pattern: Spring Vine Bracelet
Free beading pattern: Spring Vine Bracelet

Enjoy a step-by-step video tutorial to accompany the free PDF instructional diagram for this design! Pair this curvy vine-like budding bracelet with spring colors, and create a beautiful accessory for Spring. This bracelet works really well as a wrap bracelet, and works with a variety of bead finishes and palettes. Using colors in the same family (like varying pastels, or different shades of the same color) seemed to work better than highly contrasting color combinations. I hope you enjoy this free beading pattern!

Materials

A single wrap of this bracelet requires about ten 6mm round beads, ten 4mm round beads, twenty superduos, and 11/0 TOHO seed beads. For a bracelet with multiple wraps, you will need to multiply that by the number of wraps you want. Two 6/0 seed beads and two jump rings are also needed to attach a lobster clasp. In one of the bracelets (the one made with light green metallic seed beads), I used round beads that were closer to 5mm instead of 6mm, and that worked just as well.

Free beading pattern for Nellie Bracelet

Free beading pattern: Nellie Bracelet
Free beading pattern: Nellie Bracelet

Enjoy a step-by-step video tutorial to accompany the free PDF instructional diagram for this design! The technique used is similar to my Ellie Bracelet and Ellie Necklace from my previous posts, so I chose to name it “Nellie” – so essentially its name and design both rhyme with Ellie. As such, it coordinates nicely with my Ellie designs and Ornate Cross Pendant as well. This bracelet works with a variety of color combinations and finishes. The construction is made from two simple rows and is fairly quick to make. I hope you enjoy this free beading pattern!

Materials

For this bracelet you will need 11/0 TOHO seed beads (Czech will likely also work, but I didn’t officially try it), two colors of superduos, two 6/0 or 8/0 seed beads, 2 jump rings, and a lobster claw clasp. I used about 2 meters of 6 lb Fireline as my threading material, and a size 10 beading needle.

Free Beading Pattern for Reversible Ellie Bracelet

Free Beading Pattern: Ellie Bracelet
Free Beading Pattern: Ellie Bracelet

Enjoy a step-by-step video tutorial to accompany the free PDF instructional diagram for this design! I love this bracelet and had fun experimenting with different colors. It coordinates nicely with the Ellie Necklace from my previous post, as well as the Ornate Cross Pendant. Although there are “front” color and “back” color superduos, you see both equally in the piece. I found I liked irridescent or multi-colored superduos the best on the front (anything with a varied and shiny finish), with a solid supporting color on the back. Like the Ellie Necklace, this bracelet is constructed in a single row and is reversible. I hope you enjoy this free beading pattern!

Materials

For this bracelet you will need 11/0 seed beads (TOHO or Czech), two colors of superduos, two 6/0 or 8/0 seed beads, 2 jump rings, and a lobster claw clasp. I used about 2 meters of 6 lb Fireline as my threading material, and a size 10 beading needle.

Materials

For this pendant you will need two colors of superduos, 11/0 seed beads (TOHO or Czech), five 6/0 seed beads, and four 4mm crystals (bicone or round). You will also need a jump ring and a bail to connect the pendant to a cord or chain. I used 2 meters of 6 lb Fireline with a size 10 beading needle to construct each pendant.

Free Beading Pattern for Peacock Feather Pendant

Free beading pattern: Peacock Feather Pendant
Free beading pattern: Peacock Feather Pendant

Enjoy a step-by-step video tutorial to accompany the free PDF with instructional diagrams for this design. The original inspiration for this pendant was a peacock feather, but the design lends itself to colors outside of that. Now that Spring is here, I wanted to share a design that explodes with color, and this is it! Be brave and have fun experimenting with wild color combinations. I hope you enjoy this free beading pattern!

Materials

For this pendant, you will need these materials:

  • 14mm Rivoli crystal (also known as Chaton crystal)
  • 11/0 TOHO seed beads (or 11/0 Dynamite seed beads) in up to three colors
  • 15/0 seed beads
  • superduos (two colors)
  • one 6/0 or 8/0 seed bead
  • Jump ring
  • Bail (or use a few larger jump rings as a bail)
  • Size 11 or 12 beading needle
  • 2 meters of 6lb Fireline (or stringing material of your choice)

I used Rivoli crystals of varying quality – the cheaper ones (from Amazon.com) tend be thicker around the edge, but the pattern worked with both types. Below is a list of colors I used. (HL = Hobby Lobby, JWD = Jill Wiseman Designs, FMG = Fire Mountain Gems, AZ = Amazon.com, BB = Bobby Bead).
