FREE beading pattern for Wire Loop Cross

This wire loop cross pendant and necklace is made as a single interconnected piece, and looks fabulous as a short necklace.  It is made using bead stringing wire (0.015in, 0.38mm), crimp beads (6), 11/0 seed beads, 4mm and 6mm round beads, and 4 Superduo beads for the center of the cross.  Instead of transcribing this pattern as a diagram, I decided to create more of a picture tutorial in hopes it would be easier to follow.  This piece can be made fairly quickly, so I was able to make many of them to experiment with different color combinations.  You can use crimping pliers to crimp the beads at steps 7, 8, and 11, but I found just pinching the crimps flat with needle-nose pliers worked just as well, and was easier to do.  I hope you enjoy this free beading pattern!

FREE beading pattern for Trinity Necklace

This design is all about groups of three, which inspired its title.  This pattern requires 6mm and 4mm round beads or pearls, 6mm bicone crystals, and 1 or 2 colors of 11/0 seed beads.  Smaller Czech 11/0 seed beads work just as well as larger TOHO 11/0 seed beads do with this design.  Using the larger seed beads results in slightly larger triangle components.  This difference can be seen in both close-up images, which show the smaller seed bead components above the larger seed bead components for comparison.  I hope you enjoy this free beading pattern!

FREE beading pattern for Superduo Buds necklace

Since my interests have gravitated toward Superduo beads lately, I experimented with another way to use them in a necklace design.  This pattern requires 2 colors of 11/0 seed beads and 2 – 3 colors of Superduo beads.  I tried the design with smaller 11/0 Czech beads and larger TOHO 11/0 beads, and both yielded nice results.  The smaller 11/0 beads resulted in more “V” shapes in the 2nd row of buds (seen in the gold & copper, and pink & white pieces), while the larger TOHO 11/0 beads resulted in more “U” shapes in the 2nd row, shown in the black and copper example.  I hope you enjoy this free beading pattern!

FREE beading pattern for Royal Lace Earrings

Here is a pattern for earrings that match the Royal Lace necklace from my last post.  This design is basically composed of the same 2 components as the necklace (the 3-pearl component, and the diamond-shaped crystal component), but they are arranged vertically instead of horizontally.  This pattern is made using Czech 11/0 seed beads, 4mm bicone crystals, and 4mm and 6mm pearls.  Enjoy!

FREE beading pattern for Royal Lace necklace

This pattern definitely takes some patience to make, but the end result is lovely.  To make it, you need 11/0 Czech seed beads, 4mm crystals, and 4mm and 6mm pearls.  The piece below was made using AB sapphire 4mm crystals, ivory pearls, and silver 11/0 Czech seed beads.  The other example was made with copper seed beads, metallic copper crystals, and beige pearls.  I plan to include a pattern for matching earrings in my next post.  Enjoy!
