FREE beading pattern for Wendy Earrings

FREE beading pattern: Wendy Earrings
FREE beading pattern: Wendy Earrings

Enjoy a free video tutorial to accompany the PDF diagram for this design! These earrings are very light-weight, and are quick and easy to make. They are designed to coordinate with the Wendy Necklace from my last post. (You can see how they look together in the photos below). I hope you enjoy this free beading pattern!

Materials

For these earrings you need one or two colors of 11/0 seed beads (TOHO or Czech, although I think the Czech seed beads looked slightly better in this design). You will also need two 6/0 or 8/0 seed beads for jump rings to go through to connect the ear hooks or clips.

FREE beading pattern for unique Wendy Necklace

FREE beading pattern: Wendy Necklace
FREE beading pattern: Wendy Necklace

Enjoy a free video tutorial to accompany the PDF diagram for this design! This unique design requires only seed beads, and is simple to make. I like how the outer row resembles flames, as the points can lean a little left or right as they float under the accent petals. (My next one will be fire colored!) The green and gold one reminds me of sunflower petals surrounded by leaves. The blue piece shows the design using only one color instead of two. I hope you enjoy this free beading pattern!

Materials

For this necklace you need one or two colors of 11/0 seed beads (TOHO or Czech, although I think the Czech seed beads looked slightly better in this design). You will also need two 6/0 or 8/0 seed beads for jump rings to go through to connect the clasp.

FREE beading pattern for Brianna Earrings

FREE beading pattern: Brianna Earrings
FREE beading pattern: Brianna Earrings

Enjoy a free video tutorial to accompany the PDF diagram for this design! This is an earring designed to coordinate with the Brianna Bracelet and Brianna Necklace from my previous posts. Only seed and bugle beads are needed, and they are very quick and easy to make. Like the Brianna Bracelet and Necklace, this design looks great with classic jewelry colors (gold, silver, etc.), with bugles that pop against that (bright color, reflective). I hope you enjoy this free beading pattern!

Materials

These earrings require 11/0 TOHO seed beads and bugle beads, plus two 6/0 or 8/0 seed beads to connect the clasp with jump rings. The bugles can be 7mm long (as shown in blue/silver and pink/hematite examples) or 12mm long, like the red/gold example. Technically you can use any size bugle 7mm or longer, as long as you use the same size for both earrings. When using metallic seed beads, I prefer Permafinish TOHO seed beads, which do not tarnish over time.

FREE beading pattern for Halloween Spider Pendant

FREE beading pattern: Spider Pendant

Enjoy a free video tutorial to accompany the PDF download for this pendant! This is my first ever Halloween-themed design, and I am happy with the result. I wanted to create a piece for Halloween, but something that still looked like elegant jewelry. My design started with an oval bezel pattern that was the base for my Netted Bezel, Victorian Pendant, and Enchanted Tree necklace designs, and ended with a spider on top. For further inspiration, you can review those previous designs for different ideas on how you might further embellish this pendant, or incorporate it into a beaded necklace. I added my Custom Beaded Bail to the purple Spider Pendant below, to show another option. I hope you enjoy this free beading pattern!

Materials

For this pendant, you will need a 25x18mm Cabochon (flat-back). I ordered both acrylic and resin ones online at Fire Mountain Gems several years ago. Their selection has changed a bit since then, but they still have a pretty good selection of affordable 25x18mm resin and acrylic Cabochons. You will also need

  • Two rondelle crystals (one 4x6mm and one 6x8mm) for the spider body
  • 15/0 seed beads
  • 11/0 TOHO seed beads (one color the same as the 15/0 seed beads, and another color matching the spider body). I think other 11/0 seed beads (smaller than TOHO) could possibly also work, but I haven’t officially tried that.
  • Twelve 4mm crystals (bicone or round)
